The F.A.S.T. System is a unique restoration process designed to dramatically increase the quality of traditional “touch up”. The two major components, ColorFill toners and F.A.S.T. Compound, are proprietary formulations that produce the outstanding results.
ColorFill
ColorFill is a specially treated paint so it can be applied like a wax in a wipe on - wipe off fashion. We mix each bottle individually using formulas given to us by the auto manufacturers to perfectly match your car's paint color. ColorFill has been designed to have the following characteristics:
1. Great Color Match: We have over 80 of the latest colors, requiring little to no mixing of paint.
2. Permanent: Once fully cured (2-3 days after the repair), the ColorFill will be permanent.
3. Dries in Seconds: ColorFill will dry to the touch within seconds.
4. Air Dry/Cure: ColorFill is designed to air dry and cure without any aid. No additional chemicals or additives are needed to make it work.
5. Shine: ColorFill, unlike base coat paint, has a gloss to assist the camouflage effect.
Fast Compound
This is a specially formulated compound used to remove the ColorFill and produce an excellent finish on your car. The FC does the job of these 4 different products:
1. Cleaner: Used as a prep solution the FC will clean the surface of the vehicle and get it ready for ColorFill application to ensure the ColorFill will bond properly to the surface of the car.
2. Remover: FC is specially formulated to react with the ColorFill so that excess paint on the surface of the car can be removed easily leaving the paint in the chip, not on the car, without hard scrubbing or effort.
3. Compound: FC can be used to remove light oxidation, light overspray and fine scratches. FC even works on black plastic mirrors that are oxidized.
4. Wax: FC is designed to bring back the depth and gloss of the vehicle’s original finish while allowing the ColorFill to breath so it can fully cure. FC will leave a brilliant CLEAN SHINE and SILKY FEEL.
